The Importance of Brokers to Us

In Allianz Insurance Company of Singapore, brokers are one of our main channels of business besides agents and direct clients. In providing an efficient and supportive business environment to our brokers, we have a team of dedicated staff who will always work in tandem with our brokers to develop risk solutions for clients. Our Focus We believe in developing and nurturing a good relationship with our brokers. To achieve this, regular visits to our brokers' offices as well as conducting educational road shows are arranged. These arrangements also serve the purpose of providing constant updates on our products to our brokers. Who are Brokers? A person/company who is registered with the appropriate authority to offer advice on all insurance matters and arrange cover, on behalf of the client, with an insurer. An insurance broker's income comes from commission paid by insurers, usually in the form of an agreed percentage of the first premium or on subsequent premiums. Income may also be derived from consultation fees charged to their clients.
